Another NY Film Academy Movie, I played “the musician” and composed the music and other random sounds.

“The Musician” written and directed by Jeff Gaumer

This project we were suppose to make a film using music but no sync dialog…so I did this and worked around it with the tight shot in the apartment having the girlfriend out of focus so I could use some dialog.

Lyrics :: Give Me Back My Sweater

save your breath, i’ve heard your whispers
they call my name through smokey windows
there’s better times left up ahead

I’ll see you when I see you darling
the subway seems to take forever
I’m sitting next to this girl that looks like you

maybe she could, maybe she could read my letters
maybe she could, maybe she could wear my sweaters
maybe she could, maybe she could read my letters
maybe she could, maybe she could wear my sweaters

one more stop until I get there
the place that you swore that you would be there
I’m wondering if you will even show

you take your time with selfish boys who
say that they will always love you
until they run away with someone else

maybe she could, maybe she could read my letters
maybe she could, maybe she could wear my sweaters
maybe she could, maybe she could read my letters
maybe she will, maybe she will be so better

save your breath, i’ve heard your whispers
they call my name through smokey windows
there’s better times left up ahead

Lyrics :: I'll Find You

well you’re born and you die
everything in between is just a lie
at least I am told

you’re breathing in, but not for air
you realize this all could disappear
and it all ends

and there’s no place that I’d rather be
and there’s no place that I’d rather be
and there’s no place that I’d rather be
and there’s no place that I’d rather be
than here right now

I see myself
I hope I’m reveling
my heart is on my hand
so won’t you come
and touch it openly
it bleeds for you
it bleeds for you
it bleeds for you
it bleeds for you

and if there is a heaven in that sky
I’ll wait for you, I’ll wait for you
and if there is a heaven in that sky
I’ll be with you, I’ll be with you
and if there is a heaven in that sky
I’ll find you, I’ll find you
and if there is a heaven in that sky
I’ll wait for you, I’ll wait for you
and if there is a heaven in that sky
I’ll find you, I’ll find you

Lyrics :: Blender Face

A kiss goodbye
those pretty lips
warming up the blood to feel you
around the air
are particles
of magic in the way you just are
so simplified
like analog
you’re satisfied to be alone now

so search for you
and no one else
take the time to find the real you
you are the star
the shooting kind
all the faces blend into one

are they all the same?
is there one for me?

wait, don’t you go
think this through
and take, take a stand
deep breath, exhale all of it
be strong,
patience will be the test

wait, don’t you go

Lyrics :: Lost Leader

And I know I am not good
and I know I could be better
but I just can’t find the reasons to try

And you take me by the hand
and tell me everything will work out
just before you go

But I, I just can’t find the words
I forget the sound
of your pretty voice
the voice
that once kept me from leaving
but perhaps I should just go
without you…

Lyrics :: Electrical Scientists

Let’s take these feelings as far as we can
replace our lives with energy
so we can all come back again

our failed religion attempts
fuck your god he’s a fake
your story just doesn’t add up
declare all that we gave up

and the scientists have their facts
and the scientists have facts
the scientists have their facts

we’ve got electricity that keeps us
keeps us coming back for more.

Let’s take these feelings as far as we can
replace our lives with energy
so we can all come back again

our failed religion attempts
fuck your god he’s a fake
your story just doesn’t add up
declare all that we gave up

and the scientists have their facts
and the scientists have facts
the scientists have their facts

Lyrics :: Talking To The Dead

I scream out loud enough for you
but you still cannot hear me
I scream out loud enough for you
but still you cannot hear me

I scream so loud but still you can’t hear anything
I scream so loud but still you can’t hear anything
I scream so loud but still you can’t hear anything
I scream so loud but still you can’t hear anything

Lyrics :: Come Out Of Your Shell

hey armadillo are you doing okay?
I haven’t seen you since this past year
around the time, the clock would speak
as if it all could stop
tick tock tick tock

hey armadillo are you doing okay?
I haven’t seen you in a long time
I’m wondering if you’ve gone a stray
I spend my days hoping that you’ll come back to me

oh armadillo

hey armadillo, I’m missing you so
I want to know if you feel it too
hey armadillo, I’ll give you the world
I miss the way the light reflects off your eyes

Hey armadillo let the walls fall down
protecting your heart will leave you all alone
you’re so strong in your shell
so no one can ever hurt you

but you stand alone in this time
you don’t let anybody in
you don’t let anybody in
because you are the star
and you will go far
but remember to let it go
just remember to let it go
just let it go

you are the star
you are

Lyrics :: Figure Eights

i’ll tie these shoes of mine
in double figure eights
to keep myself in line
to keep myself from running after you

you’re such a romantic
with a heart filled with joy
move on and forget her
she’ll only play you like a toy
the new begginings are fading
and the smiles are not the same
and there’s too many people
playing in this love game

so tell me what you want
did you really want to let this go
cause I could bury it
I could erase it from my mind
did you really want to let this go
cause I could bury it
I could leave it all behind

I’ll try to run and hide
I’ll try, I’ll try
I’ll try to leave it all behind
behind, behind

Lyrics :: To Those Who Crumble

are you in love?
are you
swinging from the vines
of trees that grow?

the chemicals are swarming
as the bees
come and suck the honey from the lips
transmit signals from your hips
you know

you should embrace it
you were made to be loved

does he love you?
do you know?
you’re sending me signals
as if you don’t
perhaps I could
love you
until you get so sick of me
and sacrifice my heart for free
you know

our hearts were made for this
I know it was meant to be broken

break our hearts
in tiny pieces

you have no right
you have no right
to go and break a heart

you’re good at breaking hearts
you’re good at breaking all the hearts
